Rapper-singer Isis, hailing from Toronto and of Nigerian origin, teamed up with Grahm Zilla, a Montréal DJ, producer, and remixer to form Thunderheist. The duo offers up an irresistible blend of electro-rap and hip-hop mixed with funky beats, urging dancers to hit the floor. Named "Montreal Group to Watch for" in 2007, they have mastered the art of concocting melodic grooves that make people want to move. They launched their first self-titled album in April, 2009, featuring the tracks "Jerk It" and "Sweet 16," already favourites among the party elite and dance floor divas.
