Launched by producer Bob Belden, the Miles from India project brings several of Davis' former collaborators and India's music elite together on one album, released in 2008. The recording revisits a selection of the great trumpeter's classics, including Spanish Key, In a Silent Way and All Blues. In 2009, for the Festival's 30th anniversary, this renowned collective of musicians will take to the stage and bring the album to life. Some of them had already participated in the studio, while others have joined the ensemble especially for the occasion.
