Brazilian icon Joycé Silveira Palhano de Jesus started her career early in the 1960s. Her first solo album came out in 1968, revealing a gifted singer-songwriter. A couple years later, she took a break from music to raise her two daughters. She reemerged in 1975, when she joined Vinícius de Moraes on an international tour. Her own international career took off during the 1980s. Since then Joyce has been busy recording and performing to audiences all around the world. In 2009, Joyce chooses to use the name Joyce Moreno for all her future releases.
