Born in New York in 1970, Greg Hutchinson began his career at the legendary New York jazz club, The Village Vanguard, at 17. Be the time he turned 20, Hutchinson had played with the likes of Red Rodney, Betty Carter and Ray Brown. A sought-after sideman, he has collaborated on scores of albums, including Lush Life by Joe Henderson, The Swing and I by Eric Reed, and Live at Scullers by Ray Brown. He recently worked with Dianne Reeves on the CDs titled A Little Moonlight and When You Know. The drummer has also toured the U.S. and Europe with the Joshua Redman Band.
