Origin: British Columbia, Canada
Originally from British-Columbia, pianist Amanda Tosoff started studying music as a child. She has evolved under the supervision of famous pianist Ross Taggart, surrounded by the best teachers and Canadian jazz artists. At 24, she has already received several prizes and distinctions and is considered one the most promising talents of her generation. Critics praise her introspective style, the quality of her compositions and the swing of her quartet, which comprises saxophonist Evan Arntzen, bass player Sean Cronin and drummer Morgan Childs.
