With a career spanning over 25 years, husband-wife-duo Tuck Andress and Patti Cathcart have recorded and produced a remarkable amount of jazz and R&B music, be it original or covers, usually armed with nothing more than a guitar and Patti's voice. Tuck & Patti met in 1980 in Las Vegas and within months started playing shows together as a duo. They married in 1983 and released their first album in 1988 for Windham Hill Jazz, releasing two more albums before signing to Epic in 1995. The duo reached successful heights in Japan and Europe, thanks in part to Patti's warm soulful vocals and to Tuck's virtuoso guitar playing. In 2002, they left Epic to create their own label, and in 2009 released I Remember, an album of Great American Songbook classics.
