Self-taught guitarists Jorge Strunz and Ardeshir Farah are renowned around the world for their speed, precision and superior improvisation skills. Costa Rica native Strunz received his first guitar at age 6 and began playing professionally in his teens. Iran-born Farah took up the six-string at age 11 and quickly became a sought-after player. After a chance meeting in Los Angeles in 1979, the two men began collaborating. Fluent in many genres, from jazz to flamenco or world music, Strunz and Farah released their debut album Mosaico in 1982, showcasing an already wide-ranging repertoire. Journey Around the Sun came out in March 2011.
