Singer-songwriter, actor, filmmaker and social activist Dan Bigras first burst on the Quebec music scene in the 1980s, singing in bars around Montréal. The singer subsequently released a series of popular albums throughout the 1990s and 2000s, all the while taking on more and more social causes both in his public life and through his music, most especially those relating to the needs of children or the homeless.
