A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music and The Juilliard School in New York, Matt Herskowitz has been living in Montreal since 1999. Highlights from the versatile composer and pianist's numerous musical projects include a recording of Glazunov's Piano Concerto No. 2 with I Musici de Montreal (1998), a contribution to the soundtrack of the popular film Les Triplettes de Belleville (2003) and a concert dedicated to Gershwin at the Festival in 2008. Herkowitz also collaborates with singer Lara Fabian, with whom he has created several successful songs.
