Origin: Quebec, Canada
Coming from a family of seven children - all musically inclined - the great Quebecois bluesman Bob Harrisson has been part of a band since birth. He played drums from the age of eight and picked up the guitar at 13. Along with his brother, Jacques, Harrisson formed the group Dillinger. In 1979, the guitarist joined Offenbach, contributing to four of the popular rock band's albums. Three years later, he launched the Bob Harrisson Blues Band, which has appeared at the Festival for more than two decades. In 1999, Harrisson released his debut, Chevalier.
