Minsarah is the story of three musicians from completely different backgrounds brought together by an abiding love for jazz. The trio consisting of German pianist and composer Florian Weber, American bassist Jeff Denson, and Israeli drummer Ziv Ravitz met at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Soon they formed a group that's hard to categorize. Critics were quick to praise their perfect technique and their rich and dramatic melodies. In 2006, Minsarah released an eponymous album of original compositions and interpretations of songs by Wayne Shorter and singer Björk.
