Born in the beautiful Gaspé region of Quebec, guitarist and singer Patrick Leblanc, a.k.a. Pat the White, has been playing guitar since childhood, discovering a love for the blues after being exposed to the music of The Allman Brothers in his late teens. His star power grew rapidly in Quebec after the release of his self-titled debut album in 2004, which featured the earthy blues vocals of legendary American-turned-Québécoise singer Nanette Workman and Stephen Barry Band's Jody Golick on saxophone. After several awards and accolades, the young bluesman released Reviver in 2005, an acclaimed sophomore effort that led to various appearances at blues and jazz festivals worldwide. A third album, Strange Fascination, is expected for 2010.
