Established in 2000, the Montreal-based duo, Elsiane, is composed of drummer Stéphane Sotto and Peruvian-born singer Elsieanne Caplette. Their first CD, Hybrid, was released in 2007. It combines Elsieanne's ravishing voice with Sotto's compelling electro arrangements. Their ultra cool approach is peppered with jazz, pop and lounge references. The fruit of careful work, the group's music attests to their taste for adventure.
