The initial version of the Stomp All-Stars was thrown together in 1999, just for the fun of putting on a few concerts. Over the years, the lineup of musicians has continually changed and evolved. The 2009 Stomp All-Stars includes three members from One Night Band, one Planet Smasher, and a former Kingpin, but anything can happen in this ever-changing rotation of talent. Named after their link with the independent label, Stomp, this group brings together musicians active in the Montréal reggae, ska and punk scene, as well as countless guests invited to join in the fun. Although they don't play live very often, it's a treat when they do because they always deliver a dynamic, high energy, unpretentious performance.
