This Russian-born artist is a citizen of the world: Milman has lived in various countries and had the chance to discover new cultures. Her self-titled debut album, released in 2004, bears eloquent testimony to these formative experiences. The twentysomething Milman has already sold more than 100,000 albums, and she spends much of her time touring Canada, the United States and Europe, sometimes sharing the stage with the likes of Aaron Neville, Chick Corea and Jesse Cook. Her third CD, Take Love Easy, was released in the spring of 2009, followed by In the Moonlight two years later. While keeping up with the demands of her career, Milman has also been studying commerce at the University of Toronto, to keep her intellectual side from "freezing up".
