Origin: Nova Scotia, Canada
Acoustic guitar/electric guitar
Guitarist, singer and composer John Campbelljohn is a native of Cape Breton, yet he is less interested in the Celtic music so dear to his fellow islanders than the blues, which he tempers with the music of Muddy Waters and Sonny Landreth. The versatile musician is as adept on slide and lap-steel guitar as acoustic. His prowess has not gone unnoticed: In 1993, Campbelljohn launched his debut, How Does It Feel. Six years later, he released his seventh studio album, Good to Go.
