Chris Botti

1962 -

Origin: United States

Main instrument: Trumpet

Genres: Classical Music, Jazz, Pop

Red-hot American trumpet player Chris Botti has carved out a niche among the pop-jazz jet-set, collaborating with Sting, Michael Bublé and pal Paul Simon, to name a few. With his romantic style, Botti does not confine himself to the jazz mainstream. He's also embraced classical music, jazz standards and popular Italian music. In 2008, he created a concert series with some of the greatest names in the industry, including Sting, Yo-Yo Ma, and Steven Tyler. These live events were recorded on CD and DVD under the title Chris Botti in Boston. 2012 saw the release of new album Impressions.
