Bassist Kyle Eastwood grew up in California, with an early love for jazz passed on by his father, Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood, who introduced his son to the bass. As a child, Eastwood got his first taste of jazz attending the Monterey Jazz Festival with his family every year. After pursuing film studies, Eastwood performed for years in New York and Los Angeles before releasing a first CD, From Here to There, in 1998. Followed a series of well received albums, including Paris Blue (2004), Now (2006) and, more recently, the Erin Davis (son of Miles) produced Metropolitain (2009), featuring Manu Katché. Eastwood has also naturally composed material for the movies of Eastwood Sr., including Gran Torino (2008) and Letters from Iwo Jima (2006).
