Formed in 1993 by Montreal DJ Andrew Yeomanson, aka DJ Le Spam, this Miami group took flight in 1998. Since then, they've released recordings at regular intervals, including Introducing Spam Allstars, a 2008 release. With more than 200 concerts per year, the Spam Allstars are inveterate performers, and they've developed a skilful blend of funk, hip-hop, Latin music, dub and electro-a musical cocktail the nine musicians refer to as electronic descarga.
