Active on the Canadian music scene for more than 20 years, Jeff Johnston is in the country's "top ranks," according to the Toronto Star. He has played and recorded with many of the world's leading artists, including John Abercrombie, Don Alias, Shirley Eikhard, Kenny Wheeler, Dave Liebman, Archie Shepp, Sonny Greenwich and Slide Hampton. The Montreal-based musician also tours extensively throughout North America and Europe, performing at events such as the Antibes Jazz Festival in France, the Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy and as a regular at the Festival.
