Released in 2009, The Cole Porter Mix, obviously dedicated to her icon, includes a handful of tasteful renditions as well as two original compositions. The album is typical of the artist's exploratory approach. Since coming to prominence in 1992 with A Distortion of Love, Barber has been polishing her most singular stylistic approach. Barber's recent offerings feature two albums recorded live at the Green Mill, in Chicago, which are only available in digital format.
