Jordan Officer

1976 -

Origin: Quebec, Canada

Main instrument: Acoustic guitar/electric guitar

Genres: Blues, Folk/Country, Jazz

Montreal guitarist Jordan Officer has always kept up a hectic pace-in addition to his duties as arranger, producer and guitarist in the Susie Arioli Band. As well as pursuing several personal projects, he has been heard playing live in local venues along with bassist Bill Gossage and drummer Robert Harris. Influenced by guitar greats T-Bone Walker and Charlie Christian, Officer released a solo album in the Spring of 2010, featuring covers and original compositions inflected with jazz, blues, and country sounds. The blues-flavoured EP Victor Sessions came out three years later, followed by I'm Free in 2014 and Blue Skies in 2015.
