The Festival International de Jazz de Montréal carbon-neutral since 2008!

In 2008, Planetair, the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, the Fonds d’action québécois pour le développement durable (FAQDD) and Rio Tinto Alcan launched a pilot project aimed at making the Festival carbon neutral. The project served as the basis for producing a guide, information tools and training sessions geared to festival organizers interested in reducing their carbon footprint. Since then, the Festival, Rio Tinto Alcan and Planetair have been working together to make every edition of the Festival carbon neutral.
