Record year for ticket sales, on-site revenues, number of concerts and performers!
  •  A remarkable number of discoveries: more indoor and outdoor shows than ever for a total of 725 performances.
  •  More than 30 sold-out concerts.

  •  More than $6 million in ticket sales with an average attendance of 80% for indoor venues, the Festival sold a 128 000 tickets for the first time.
  • More than $4 million in sales of food, drinks and merchandise.
  •  For the first time, revenues from the general public exceeded $10 million.
  • For the first time, the Festival's budget surpassed $25 million; 15.66% (for the first time $4 million) coming from government contributions and more than $10 million in private sponsorships. Thank you to the three levels of government and to our private partners for their loyal support.
  •  Balanced budget with a surplus that will be invested in Jazz All-Year Round series.
  • 34% of Festival on-site visitors are from outside of Montreal and 25% are from outside Quebec.

  •  57% increase of hotel occupancy nights generated by sales of the Festival's travel packages.
  •  In comparison to last year, the Montreal Guitar Show doubled its visitors generating approximately 400 nights of hotel occupancy.
  •  The Festival tripled the length of the Grande murale de jazz with Armand Vaillancourt (from 300 to 900 feet) because of its popularity.
  • An outstanding success at the Pavillon Heineken with 1000 people waiting in line for The Lost Fingers.
  •  The Événement spécial Bell Bran Van 3000 attracted the biggest crowd in the history of the Festival since the Festival's 25th anniversary with the Cirque du Soleil. The show can be watched again at BV3K.sympatico.msn.ca.
  • This year, the Festival collected near 30 tons of recyclable material on its site: 35% cardboard fibres, 15% plastic, (including close to 150,000 cups), 20% glass, 5% aluminum and-new this year-25% wood.
